RECREATIONAL THERAPY AIDE

Rocky Mountain PACE a division of Rocky Mountain Health Care Service that provides care to the elderly is seeking a recreational Therapy Aide for the PACE Day Center. Responsibilities include managing the therapy wellness calendar, developing and leading activities such as crafts, games, memory and learning events, etc. one-on- one and with groups. Aide assist the Recreational Therapy Manager in assessing participant functional status, needs and capabilities to provide appropriate activities, assists in lunch service and cleanup and performs charting and reporting as required. Other duties such as organizing outings and events, etc. as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1 – 2 yrs experiences in a health related field serving the frail and elderly
  • HS diploma
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Strong computer skills – MS Office software
  • NAAP certification strongly desired

The physical demands of this job include, but are not limited to: the ability to lift/carry up to 65 pounds and push or pull objects exceeding 150 pounds; standing, walking, pushing, bending, kneeling and reaching at arms length for 95% of shift; working under stressful conditions.

FT. M-F 8-5

$10.00- $13.50/hr DOE

PACE Bus Attendant

Rocky Mountain PACE is seeking a part-time Bus Attendant. Applicant must have a minimum of a GED or high school diploma. Duties include, but are not limited to: loading/unloading clients as necessary, securing wheelchairs and walkers inside the bus, ensuring safety of our clients while on the bus and additional duties as requested, such as light janitorial work.

The physical demands of this job include, but are not limited to: the ability to lift/carry up to 65 pounds and push or pull objects exceeding 150 pounds; standing, walking, pushing, bending, kneeling and reaching at arm’s length for prolonged periods of time; working under stressful conditions.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and must be proficient on a computer working with Microsoft programs. Candidate must be willing to submit to a drug screen, background check and must possess a clean driving history.

Hours: Monday-Friday, part-time hours

Pay rate: $8.50/hr
