Rocky Mountain Health Care Services Hosts 7th Annual Chef Showcase

WHAT: 7th Annual Chef Showcase Event—benefitting the programs of RMHCS

WHERE: Antlers Hotel, 4 South Cascade, Colorado Springs, CO 80903

WHEN: Thursday, April 20th, 2017; 5:30 p.m.—8:30 p.m.

WHY: This event is an opportunity for the community to continue to learn more and donate to help support the needs of RMHCS. RMHCS facilities consolidated about a year ago in the heart of Colorado Springs to increase business efficiency and program capacity. The new location has allowed RMHCS to better serve the community. This project enhances revitalization efforts in the center of Colorado Springs, including job creation, as the number of community members served will increase annually.


Colorado Springs—Rocky Mountain Health Care Services, a local nonprofit serving vulnerable seniors and adults with brain injuries, is hosting their 7th Annual Chef Showcase event to benefit their program lines on April 20th at the Antlers Hotel in Colorado Springs.

“Our mission is to improve lives, optimize wellness and promote independence in our community,” RMHCS CEO Tom Reiter said. “We love hosting the local chefs and educating the community about how we are delivering services.”

More than 18 local chefs will be competing for the recognition of the “Top Chef” from guests at RMHCS. The winning Chef will receive a cash prize of $2500.

Rocky Mountain Health Care Services serves more than 5,000 clients in El Paso, Park and Teller Counties each year. They currently operate a medical clinic, rehabilitation unit, day health center, art classrooms, outdoor living area, a commercial kitchen, several residential properties and a transportation division.

The 41-year-old local nonprofit organization has grown in terms of their ability to serve vulnerable seniors and adults with brain injuries. RMHCS is the parent company of Rocky Mountain PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly), BrainCare and HealthRide.
