Rocky Mountain Health Care Services Names Kim Lopez as Quality and Compliance Officer

Colorado Springs, CO– Rocky Mountain Health Care Services (RMHCS) is pleased to announce Kim Lopez as the new Quality & Compliance Officer.  She brings over 17 years of experience in quality, risk management and compliance, including almost 7 years with Colorado’s first PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care) provider.

“I am excited to have the opportunity once again to support the PACE mission!”  Lopez stated.  “Although I’ve only been at RMHCS a short time, I am impressed with the organization’s dedication to upholding the PACE philosophy and fostering quality care and optimal outcomes for program participants.”

Following her experience at Innovage, Lopez served as the National Director of Care Continuum Compliance for Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) where she assisted post-acute facilities to achieve their quality and compliance goals and developed comprehensive compliance programs specific to each setting.  Prior to her promotion as the National Director of Care Continuum Compliance at CHI, she served in a quality capacity teaching facilities high reliability concepts, leadership methods and error prevention techniques.  Kim served on a voluntary community bioethics committee for several years and also provided leadership for Innovage’s ethics program.

The mission at Rocky Mountain Health Care Services is to improve lives, optimize wellness, and promote independence. RMHCS works diligently to keep individuals as highly independent as possible. The nonprofit organization delivers exceptional care to enrich the lives of their participants and empower them to live vibrant, independent lives.  RMHCS works towards this goal through programs designed to meet the specific needs of individuals living in El Paso and Teller Counties. The programs have served the Colorado Springs community since 1976.
