Rocky Mountain Health Care Services Announces Chief Financial Officer
Colorado Springs, CO -Rocky Mountain Health Care Services is pleased to announce Alan Spidel has been named as Chief Financial Officer of the nonprofit organization. Alan brings over 25 years of leadership and financial expertise to Rocky Mountain Health Care Services, with an emphasis in managed care programs.
After graduating from the University of Denver with a Master of Science degree in Health Care Systems, he began his career with the University of Colorado Hospital. He was prominent in helping develop effective programs, to improve the healthcare for the senior populations and military personnel in one of the top ranked hospitals in the country. He also served as the Controller for the State’s Medically Indigent and Child Health Plans and was the Regional Vice President at a healthcare investment bank. Nate Olson, Chief Executive Officer for Rocky Mountain Health Care Services states that Alan brings valuable experience which will be very beneficial to the organization. “We are very excited to have someone with Alan’s diverse background and experience join our team. He will strengthen an already talented team at RMHCS,” stated Olson. Alan’s healthcare experience also includes academic medical centers, behavioral healthcare, and specialty practice management. In his free he enjoys spending time with his family ranging from Ft. Collins to Pueblo.
